What Great Faith You Have!
Hebrews 11
(1) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
---- We do not display our faith by what Gid has provided us to see, touch, or hold. If we display faith it is by holding on to the promises that God has provided in His Word regardless of ever experiencing them in this present life.
(2) For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
---- Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, and others believed in God's promises and deliverance before they ever viewed it with their eyes. Indeed some of them never did see the full promise of God in their lifetime.
(3) By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
---- Evelutionists and creationists can battle back and forth and present one argument after another to prove thier reasoning for taking their stands as they do.
However, in the end there is that understanding of faith that is pre-conceived that develops our tenacity to stand where and how we do. We must come to the conclusion that we cannot fully understand nor fully explain why we believe the way we do.
(Read Hebrews 11:4-40)
---- God moments: Everybody has them. You might have had them prior to conversion to Christ but couldn't understand what was taking place. You might have called it luck at one point in your life, but now you know better.
It might have been that day, hour, or moment when God revieled to you the next step of your journey with Him.
It might be when you first asked Jesus to take control of your life.
It might have been that time when you were in such a state of despair that you didn't know where to tour and God revieled His love and purpose for you.
