Go Ahead, Its a Gift
(Rom 11:25) For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
(Rom 11:26) And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
(Rom 11:27) For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
(Rom 11:28) As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
(Rom 11:29) For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

I have often made a humorous comment to folks that I would not have them be ignorant. I would like them to know something,... anything! Paul made this statement to prepare us for what he is about to tell us. It is meant inform us of an important fact concerning the plan of salvation and God’s will for His “Chosen People, Israel.”
I. Don’t get all puffed-up concerning Israel being blinded to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
1. It is only for a time.
It is only until the fullness of time which will be the right time when God will again open their eyes to the truth.
2. God will wash away their sins.
This is His covenant with them and God will not break His promise.
3. They are enemies of the gospel for our sakes.
Yet the Lord still loves them.
4. God gives the gift of eternal life even prior to our receiving it.
5. God gives us our calling prior to us following in it.
6. God gives us talents and spiritual gifts long before we learn to properly apply them.
Conclusion:
1. Let’s not get a big head over our standing in Christ. We should be continually praying for others to come to Him.
2. Let’s learn how to use the gifts what God has endowed us with in wisdom and skill.
3. Let’s come together as one and use our gifts, talents and abilities to glorify God.
