Jesus Conqueror and King!

Revelation 19:11-16

You know when it rains it pours. There have been times in my life when it seems like things are going well then something comes along and it really gets us down. How often do we feel that the world is crushing us? There have been times in my life when I look at the world and wonder how much worse can it get, during these times I pause for a moment and pray that God’s will be done in that situation and that He would help those suffering.
Have you ever sit down to read a book and started to reading a few chapters and the for what ever reason you stop and flip to the last page and read the last sentence or paragraph. Well I am guilty I have done this on more than one occasion. There is one book that I read that I can’t help but read the last chapter, the Bible. When I was younger before I knew the Lord I would sometimes read Revelation it would be difficult for me because afterwards I would almost always be confused and scared by the time I got done. At the time I just thought that I could never understand it and that the Lord would return and I would be left behind.
Now I read Revelation with excitement I know that there is a day coming when the Lord Jesus will return to conqueror His enemies and rule the world as King.
It is still difficult for me to read Revelation but not for the same reasons. Now I read and I get excited and I have to stop and all I can think is come Lord Jesus come, I can’t wait to see you stand over your enemies as the victor.
You know when I feel like the world is crushing me and there is no possible way for me to make it I just think to myself that Jesus conquerors all and that He is the Lord of my life and that one day I will stand with Him dressed in a robe of white free from this sin and this world. Spending eternity with my God and King.
Is the world crushing you, do things in your life seem to big for you to handle, does it seem like everything is falling apart or are you afraid, afraid of the world, afraid of being left behind if so Jesus is waiting and He will help you through.
